
One of his first roles was in the 1943 classic Millions Like Us – he played in a minor uncredited role.
Other films that he went on to appear in include; Champagne Charlie (1944), Johnny Frenchman (1944 – as Dave Pascoe, Night Boat to Dublin (1946), Night and the City (1950), An Inspector calls (1954), Three Cases of Murder (1955), The One that Got Away (1957), Innocent Sinners (1958), The Haunted Strangler (1958), The Revenge of Frankenstein (1958) and Danger List (1959).
He also appeared in a number of TV productions – most notably in 1965 as Uncle Ted in Steptoe and Son: And Afterwards At… (pictured)
He died on 11th July 1966 in London
