
He was probably best known for his appearances in Pimpernel Smith 1941 (as Jordan), Odd Man Out (as Tom) 1947 and as Wallis in The Lavender Hill Mob 1951.
For fans of basil Radford and Naunton Wayne – he appeared alongside them as The Barman in Its’ Not Cricket 1949 (see photo).
