One of her first ‘talkie’ films was alongside Torin Thatcher in 1935’s Barrabas. Other films that she appeared in include Dead Men Tell No Tales 1939, Salute John Citizen 1942, Room to Let 1950, Laughter in Paradise 1951, Companions in Crime 1954 and The Hornet’s nest 1955.
In 1949 she played the part of Archibald’s Wife (see 2nd photo) in Stop Press Girl alongside Basil Radford and Naunton Wayne.
The latter part of her career saw her appear in a number of TV productions including Armchair Theatre, Stryker of the Yard and The History of Mr Polly.
