He was a regular in the Carry On, St Trinians and Huggetts trilogy films including Carry on Sergeant 1958, Carry on Nurse 1958, Carry on Teacher 1959, Carry on Constable 1960 (2nd photo with Sid James and Shirley Eaton), Carry on Regardless 1961, Carry on Cruising 1962, Carry On Cabby 1963, The Pure Hell Of St Trinians 1960, The Great St Trinians Train Robbery 1966, Here Come The Huggetts 1948, The Huggetts Abroad 1949.
He also appeared in several films alongside Basil Radford and Naunton Wayne including Crook’s Tour 1941 as an American, as a Reporter in 1948’s Quartet, as a Military Policeman in It’s Not Cricket 1949 (1st photo), as Johnnie in Stop Press Girl 1949 (3rd photo) and an uncredited part in 1949’s Helter Skelter.
His first ever film appearance was in an uncredited part in Will Hay’s Ask A Policeman in 1939.

He died in 1974.
