
He was generally type-cast in stiff-upper-lip or pompous roles. A few of the films that he appeared in include; Man in the Valley (1923), Mist in the Valley (1923), Purse Strings (1933), The River House Mystery (1935), The Lion Hasngs (1939), Sailors Don’t Care (1940), This Man is Dangerous (1941), Let the People Sing (1942), My Learned Friend (1943), Under New Management (1946), English Criminal Justice (146) – pictured, Spring in Park Lane (1948), The Naked Heart (1950) and Lady of Vengeance (1957).
For fans of Charters and Caldicott he appeared alongside them in 1940’s Night Train to Munich in an uncredited role.
He died 19th January 1964 in London.
