Kenneth Griffith the welsh actor and filmmaker was born 12th October 1921.  He started acting almost straight from school – his first job was in an ironmongers which lasted for one full day.

In 1949 he had a part in the madcap comedy Helter Skelter – he played the part of Nick Martin's (played by David Tomlinson) BBC Colleague (middle in photo)

Some of the films that he appeared in include; Black Sheep of Whitehall 1942, The Forest Rangers 1942, two versions of the Shop at Sly Corner – 1946 and 1947, Waterfront 1950, The Prisoner 1955, Private’s Progress 1956, 1984 released in 1956, Blue murder at St. Trinian’s 1957, I’m Alright Jack 1959, Suspect 1960, The Frightened City 1961, Heavens Above! 1963 and Rotten to the Core 1965.  There were of course many more films that he appeared in.

From the 1960’s onwards his TV career flourished appearing in shows such as Paris 1900, as Charles Buddenbrooks in Buddenbrooks 1965, Perils of Pendragon 1974 and the late 1980’s Shaka Zulu.

He died 25th June 2006.

Would not wish to upset anybody but the still for Kenneth Griffith in Helter Skelter 1949 on this page above is not from the film as such but is a set up production photograph for archival or publicity purposes and the control room chappie is otherwise unidentified.
A photograph of Kenneth Griffith in this film is on this page in the 12th (twelfth) image > https://www.cinemaparadiso.co.uk/media/stl1403848/helter-skelter-52160.html .
