He appeared in dozens of films, both German and English speaking from 1919 through to the late 1950's and therefore the list of films is too extensive to list here. Before 1931 he predominantly appeared in German/Hungarian films but thereafter appeared solely in English language films. Just a few of these English language films that he appeared in include: The Last Barricade 1938, 21 Days Together 1940, Mad Men of Europe 1940, Pack Up Your Troubles 1940, We’ll Smile Again 1942, Candlelight in Algeria 1944, as The Jeweller in Huggetts Abroad 1949, Dick Barton At Bay 1950, The Wooden Horse 1950 and Malaga 1954.
For fans of Charters and Caldicott he appeared as the Maharajah (pictured) in It's Not Cricket - the Basil Radford and Naunton Wayne vehicle where their characters were Major Bright and Captain Early.
