The actress Olive Walter was born 1st September 1898 in London and died September 4th 1961. She played the uncredited part of The Landlord’s Wife in Stop Press Girl starring Basil Radford, Naunton Wayne and Sally Ann Howes.
She started her film career in 1910 appearing the film short The Blue Bird. Other films that she appeared in include Gallows Glorious 1938, The Coffin 1939, The Deacon and The Jewess 1939, Meet Sexton Blake 1945, For You Alone 1945, Green Fingers 1947, The Good Companions 1949 and Trelawney of the Wells also 1949. Her final role was as Elsie Bowden in an episode of the TV series, Consider Your Verdict - Queen versus Bowden was broadcast in 1962 shortly after her death.
