
She appeared in a number of British ‘B’ movies during the 1940’s and 1950’s including 1947’s The Loves of Joanna Godden which starred Googie Withers, When the Bough Breaks 1947, Miranda 1948, The Calendar starring Greta Gynt in 1948 – Sonia played the part of Lady Mollie Panniford, The bad Lord Byron in 1949, The Crowded Day 1954 and as co-star in 1954’s Radio cab Murder.
In 1949 she appeared alongside Basil Radford and Naunton Wayne in Stop Press Girl – she played the part of Angela Carew.
She died in 1974 at the relatively young age of 52.
