Valentine Dunn the actress was born 12th February 1905. One of her memorable roles was as Elsie Crowson (pictured) (sister to Patricia Roc's Celia Crowson) in the WW2 home-front film Millions Like Us 1943 which was the fourth film outing for the Charters and Caldicott characters played by Basil Radford and Naunton Wayne
Active in films in the period 1930’s to 1950’s she appeared in a number of classic British films including The Claydon Treasure Mystery 1938, Banana Ridge 1942, Old Mother Riley Detective 1943, playing the part of Beryl (pictured) in 1945's Great Day alongside Eric Portman (she appeared with him in Millions Like Us too), A Hundred Years Old 1946, A Song For Tomorrow 1948, Gone To Earth in 1950 and A Killer Walks 1952.
She died in 1980 at the age of 75.
